Equity Maintenance Group (EMG) is actively seeking a full time Facilities Maintenance Technician in the Tampa Bay area.

We are looking for a full time, experienced Maintenance Technician to service commercial properties throughout Central Florida.

Job Duties: –

Perform general maintenance duties and repairs including but not limited to painting, pressure washing, repair to structural elements, including parking lot and sidewalks, drywall and stucco repair and replacement/repair of street signs

Replacement/repair of lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast replacement, changing of lightbulbs Equipment repair inside and outside of buildings

Perform custodial duties as needed including emptying out trash cans, picking up loose trash and disposal of bulk trash

Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property

Schedule and perform preventive maintenance
Complete work orders in a timely manner
Performing monthly inspections and reporting findings to a direct supervisor
Assist other departments, including but not limited to leasing, sales and property management.

Qualifications: 
At least two years of prior experience as a Maintenance Technician – always Adhere to safety – Attention to detail -Must be reliable

Requirements: 
Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to use Environmental Health & Safety approved cleaning chemicals to perform essential job functions daily

Must be able to work outside
Must be able to pass an extensive background check
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
